Privacy policy

Status: 26 October 2026. This policy describes how PrepBook processes personal data when you visit this website. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Scope

This policy applies to this website. The PrepBook app has its own privacy policy, which is published separately.

Hosting and access data

When you visit the website, the server stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, and browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the website and operate it securely.

The hosting provider has not been decided yet. We will add the provider and server location here as soon as they are confirmed.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. When you visit the site, no fonts are loaded from third parties, and no connection to Google or other font services is made.

Cookies and statistics

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services.

Contact and pilot registration by email

When you write to us, for example to register for the pilot, we process the data you give us: your email address, your name and, depending on the message, your school, level and device. We use it to answer your request and to organise the pilot.

We keep emails for at least 90 days. After that we delete them, unless a legal obligation or a legitimate reason requires us to keep them longer.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell personal data. We only pass data on to service providers we need to run the website and email communication, for example for hosting, and only as far as necessary. If data is transferred abroad in the process, we ensure appropriate protection under the FADP.

Your rights

You can ask us for information about your personal data and request that it be corrected or deleted. You can object to processing and, where the law provides for it, ask for your data to be handed over. To do so, write to flavio@prepbook.ch.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We will amend this policy if the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
